- Knowledge of, or strong interest in, home-based / community nursing care models
- Sound knowledge of vitals monitoring, IV therapy, venepuncture and cannulation
- Understanding of chronic disease management relevant to an ageing population (e.g. hypertension, diabetes, stroke recovery)

- Prior experience working in a community or home-visiting setting
- Willingness to work towards additional courses or certifications (e.g. geriatric or palliative care)
